EDUCATION

As a teacher, I provide students with the tools and resources they need to develop the ability to innovate, problem solve, engage in sense making, and successfully communicate their ideas.
WRITING

As a skilled writer, I enjoy finding effective ways to deliver content and communicate information to different audiences. I love employing a variety of writing styles to meet particular needs.
MANAGEMENT

As an experienced coordinator of many programs, I am able to articulate vision, empower colleagues, and maintain organized systems and structures to facilitate and ensure success.

My Background

I have worked in education for nearly twelve years, first as a swim instructor and office manager, then as a classified employee specializing in assessment and education technology at a public school district office, and now as a classroom teacher. Throughout this journey, I have become more and more dedicated to empowering students and providing access to educational opportunity for people of all ages.
